AVN 440 - Flight Instructor Ground Instruction

40 hrs ground instruction on FAA regulations and publications, weather, advanced flight computer operations, radio navigation, advanced aircraft and engine performance, and fundamentals of instructing. Covers requirements for flight instructor written exams. 2 lec.

Prerequisites: COMMERCIAL PILOT’S CERTIFICATE
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
