AVN 486 - Principles of Corporate Flight Operations

Corporate pilot standards and practices with in-depth review of safety, standardization, and CRM concepts as applied to corporate flight operations. The course will also cover aircraft systems, preflight, performance calculations, weight and balance, and emergency procedures in various piston and turbo-prop aircraft.

Prerequisites: AVN 485
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
