AT 220 - Physical Examination of the Lower Extremities Provides students with hands-on experience that prepares them to perform orthopedic assessments within the field of athletic training. Students take medical histories; palpate bony and soft structures; perform range of motion, neurological and circulatory tests; and perform orthopedic special tests for the lower extremities and lumbar spine.
Prerequisites: (AT 215 CONCURRENT) & 280B & (BIOS 301A & 301B) OR (BIOS 203 & 204) Credit Hours: 5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
