ART 567 - Artistic Practice in the Public Sphere

Introduction to issues surrounding artistic practice in the public realm. Emphasis on participatory art pedagogy, e.g., the “artistas-educator,” cooperative learning, and collaborative art making. Course focus on topics that intertwine public space, artistic practice and contemporary social issues.
