BME 640 - Biomedical Instrumentation

This course covers acquisition, measurement and processing of physiological signals from the human body. Topics include basic sensors and principles, biopotentials, blood pressure and sound, measuring the flow and volume of blood, measurements of the respiratory system, therapeutic and prosthetic devices, and electrical safety. Concepts are reinforced through hands-on laboratory exercises.
