EDCE 6450 - Counseling Over the Lifespan
Students will gain an understanding of the nature and needs of individuals at all levels of human development. Issues in counseling and counseling techniques and strategies for use with persons at different points across the lifespan will be explored. The primary emphasis in readings and experiences will be on the psychological, sociological, and physiological aspects of human development and behavior for children, adolescents, and adults. Theories of development, personality, and learning will likewise be explored.
Requisites Credit Hours: 3.0 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken.
