PBIO 1020 - Plant Biology Directed to nonscience majors. Surveys the important taxonomic groups of plants, including algae, bryophytes, ferns, conifers, and flowering plants with reference to modern and fossil species. Life histories, reproduction, and relationships between groups are considered. Fungi are also discussed. Focuses on the structure of seed plants as related to their function in the environment.
