HIST 3451 - Southeast Asia, c. 1750 to 1945: Change and Conflict Indigenous change and widening effects of western penetration, with emphasis on social and cultural developments. Nature of western and Japanese colonialism in region, and response of the colonized seen in light of both traditional and modern influences.
