Development research examining relationship between human health and international development.

Credit Hours: 4

Learning Outcomes:
 

  • Critically assess the social and environmental factors associated with disease patterns.
  • Critically evaluate development interventions designed to reduce the role of illness as an obstacle to development.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the range of public health issues confronting developing countries and the implications for social progress.
