SW 6922 - Advanced Practicum 2


Continues integration of clinical theory and practice, including professional ethics and behavior. Students engage in 280 hours of supervised clinical practice activities such as diagnostic assessment and psychosocial intervention to address mental and emotional disorders. Courses in the 6921-6922 sequence are evaluated using learning outcomes derived from the Council on Social Work Education’s Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards (2022), including the competencies and practice behaviors described therein. As students progress through each course, they are expected to demonstrate greater independence with planning and execution of learning activities that fulfill the competencies.

Requisites: SW 6921. Warning: No credit for this class and SW 6925 and SW 6926
