NRSE 8920 - Doctor of Nursing Practice Practicum I
Focuses on role and responsibilities of Doctor of Nursing Practice prepared nurse leader. Emphasis on development, implementation, evaluation of scholarly healthcare change project.

Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to integrate the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice to communicate effectively with individuals and teams, engage in partnerships and advance the scholarship of nursing.
- Students will be able to differentiate between quality improvement, evidence-based practice, program evaluation and health policy projects.
- Students will be able to contribute as a nurse leader to a culture of patient, provider and workplace safety.
- Students will be able to use knowledge of nursing and other professions to address healthcare needs.
- Students will be able to apply knowledge of systems and organizations to work effectively across the continuum of care considering the ethical, legal and fiscal implications.
