ISE 540A - Industrial Plant Design I

Introduction to two-quarter program in which students design a manufacturing facility. First quarter topics include product and process analysis, plant size, layout and location, building design, estimation of production time for each operation, production scheduling, and inventory control. (Not for degree credit for M.S., IMSE.)

Prereq: 333, 445A.
