CHEM 309 - Organic Chemistry Laboratory

Continuation of 308. Emphasis on microscale synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds. Designed for B.S. chemistry majors. 6 lab. (Credit is not allowed for both sequences of organic chemistry courses–301-302-303-304 and 305-306-307-308-309. Transfer from the middle of one sequence to the other may be possible, but is permitted only upon approval of the faculty in the courses involved.)
Prerequisites: CHEM 308 & (307 OR CONCURRENT)

Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts.
