T3 410B - The Age of Michelangelo Examines Michelangelo’s life (1475-1564), which spanned the two most significant movements in early modern European history: Renaissance and Reformation. All of his work, artistic and literary, reflects these movements. By studying his life and work, one is able to acquire richer and more lasting insight into and appreciation of the Renaissance and the Reformation.
