T3 414F - Stories and the Pursuit of Meaning Achieves a critical understanding of the human pursuit of meaning experienced through “cosmic” storytelling. Examines a psychological foundation of storytelling, a philosophical taxonomy of stories, epistemological clues for assessing stories, the postmodernist disprivileging of all stories, and the Biblical, Buddhist, African, Marxian, and existentialist traditions as bearers of cosmic stories. Prerequisites: SR ONLY
