Provides students with an understanding of the social, cultural, economic, psychological, and political nature of work in the U.S.; an appreciation of individual reactions to work, as well as the resulting productivity in modern organizations; and a basis for understanding the employment relationships in modern organizations. Focuses on the institution as well as the impact of institutional policies on individual work behaviors and organizational productivity. Prerequisites: SR ONLY
