T3 437A - Images of War in Film, Television, and Literature in the 20th Century Uses a case study approach to evaluate how our perceptions of war have been shaped by fictional and nonfictional treatments. Course materials include novels, short fiction, television news and documentaries, fiction films, and archival sources that focus on WWI, WWII, Vietnam, regional wars of the 1980s and 1990s, and the Gulf War. Prerequisites: SR ONLY & (1 CRSE IN HIST OR POLS OR COM)
