T3 437D - Communication Theory in Everyday Life Examines the role of language and symbols in interpersonal and mass-mediated contexts in defining and maintaining identity. Students will understand how the different symbol systems people use throughtout life affect how they interpret significant events in their lives. Prerequisites: 8 HRS TIER II SOCIAL SCIENCE
