T3 480T - Science Policy in the U.S. Considers the intersection of science and politics. Investigates how government affects science, how scientists become involved in political decisions, and how scientific information is used in public policy-making. Examines the values and methods of both science and politics, traces the historical development of science policy, and analyzes contemporary issues where science and politics meet. Prerequisites: SR ONLY & POLS 101 OR LAB SCI CRSE
