EQU 102 - Basic Equine Health Care

Basic equine health care introduces the equine studies student to common health care issues of the horse. Students will learn how to prevent health care problems, assess and treat minor non-threatening injuries and problems, using these skills to know when to bring in professional help, maintenance of horse health, as well as overall day to day healthy management of the horse.
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
