EDRE 201 - Introduction to Applied Research


This course teaches skills needed to conduct research in the field of education. The purpose of this course is to prepare students to use various research designs, sampling strategies, surveys, descriptive statistics and qualitative inquiry. Students will learn about applied research and how to design research, collect data, and analyze it. Thus, this course is about applied research and all of the many decisions students must consider when conducting applied research.

Prerequisites: EDCI 282H
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 4 hours.
