B A 329 - Current Global Issues in Business Examines and compares the characteristics, market niches, and business strategies of various companies during the last four years. Taking examples from the U.S., Japan, Korea, and the other Far East countries, the course will focus upon selected business issues such as productivity, quality, the art of “managing” the businesses, the role of technology, and how to survive in the war of global competition.
Prerequisites: JR OR SR Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
