DANC 315A - Laban Movement Analysis I


Surveys the movement analysis theories of Rudolph Laban. Particular attention is given to identifying the dynamics and spatial relationship of movement expression and function. The course includes movement observation, description, and practice in a wide variety of settings and applications. No previous dance experience is required.

Prerequisites: JR OR SR
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 3 hours.
