ECON 341 - International Monetary Systems How exchange rates are determined, fixed vs. flexible rates, government intervention, fiscal and monetary policy in open economy, transmission of inflation and unemployment among nations, international capital movements, covered interest arbitrage, forward exchange, Euro-currency markets.
Prerequisites: ECON 103 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken three times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
