ECON 381 - Introduction to Economic Statistics and Econometrics Statistical methods are developed within an economic context. Fundamental statistical topics include descriptive statistics, basic probability theory, random variables, sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testing.
Prerequisites: ECON 103 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken three times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
