EDCS 301 - Education and Cultural Diversity Requires students to observe, analyze, and reflect upon the advantages and problems associated with teaching in a culturally diverse environment. Students study the influences of cultural diversity on education in the United States and develop the skills and attitudes that help them adjust curriculum and instruction to culturally diverse groups.
Prerequisites: ADM TO PROF EDUC & (JR OR SR) Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
