HIST 354B - Modern Christianity Explores the modern history of the world’s largest and most geographically diverse religious tradition. While primarily considering modern Chrisianity’s Euro-American “heartlands” this class will also examine Christianity’s transition during the modern period from a religion centered on Europe, its colonies and settlements to a global religion that has helped define and resist modernity.
Prerequisites: JR OR SR Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
