HIST 360A - Women in Early Modern European History, 1400-1800 Explores the social, cultural, political, and economic roles of women in Europe for the 15th through the 18th centuries. Key issues are women’s political power and participation in politics; sexuality and the body; women’s spiritual and religious roles; and women’s interactions with men.
Prerequisites: JR OR SR Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
