MATH 101 - Basic Mathematics A developmental course covering pre-algebra concepts. Topics include operations on whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and integers; proportions and percents; linear equations, expressions, and inequalities; and problem solving. A maximum of 8 credit hours of developmental courses may be applied for graduation. Meets no other college requirement. No credit for students who have passed a higher-level mathematics course.
Prerequisites: MATH PLACEMENT LEVEL DEV1 & NO CREDIT IF MATH COURSE ABOVE 101 Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code: 0M Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
