MATH 113 - College Algebra Topics in algebra including functions, linear equations and systems, polynomials, rational and radical expressions, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and inequalities. Graphing calculators are employed (except on exams). No credit for students with credit for 117 or 263A.
Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN MATH 102 OR MATH PLACEMENT LEVEL 1 OR HIGHER Credit Hours: 5 General Education Code: 1M Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
