PETE 205 - Fundamentals of Movement, Rhythms and Dance Introduces students to the disciplines and progressions of teaching human movement, rhythmical activities, and fundamentals of dance in school based physical education programs. Students begin to develop movement analysis techniques, refine personal movement abilities, and begin the process of learning how to teach basic movement skills. 1 lec, 4 lab.
Prerequisites: C OR BETTER (PESS 126 & PETE 202 & EXPH 227) Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken three times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be taken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Formerly: PESS 205
