PETE 240B - Foundations of Sport and Games in Physical Education II Sport and games are a primary instructional component of physical education programs. This course introduces and provides instruction in a variety of sport skills and game activities that typically occur outdoors. Students will receive instruction in basic skills, tactics and strategies of game play, and will be required to apply principles of outdoor sports and games at different developmental levels. 1 lec, 6 lab.
Prerequisites: PESS 126 & PETE 202 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken three times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be taken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Formerly: PESS 240B
