PHYS 311 - Mechanics
Fundamentals of physical mechanics using vector analysis and ordinary differential equations. Particle dynamics, accelerating reference systems, central forces, and celestial mechanics.
Prerequisites: (PHYS 253 OR 315) & MATH 340
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
