PHYS 423 - Geometrical and Physical Optics

Reflection, refraction, diffraction, lenses, polarization, birefringence, interference, coherence, and selected introductory topics in modern optics. 4 lec.

Prerequisites: PHYS 253 & MATH 340
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
