THAR 172 - Elements of Performance

Introduction to the elements of performance that create theater and drama, including text, performer, spectacle, spectator, and performance space. The emphasis is on the analysis of the text, how the text works as part of the performance, and how the text is brought to life in performance. Attendance at Ohio University Theater productions is required.
