CHE 4800 - Biochemical Engineering Studies of processes in chemical engineering that depend on biological systems. Overview of biological basics, enzyme kinetics, major metabolic pathways, cell growth characteristics, essentials of recombinant DNA technology, bioreactor design and control, and basics in bioseparation methods. One lab project is included.
