HSP 2235 - Cross Cultural Issues in Tropical Diseases This course introduces students to the concept of culture as a relevant framework for understanding human behavior in relation to health. It will focus on biological, environmental, cultural, social, and political aspects relevant to tropical diseases, including prevention, treatment and control. Finally, the course will discuss the importance of these issues in health interventions and in the design, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion projects.
