HLTH 6802 - Quantitative Methods in Health Research
The concepts of quantitative health research are discussed. Study designs, measures of disease frequency, screening, and validity and reliability of study results are covered. The concept of evidence-based patient care is studied. Applications of the probability theory and biostatistics to measurement of disease and risk factors are discussed.
