CFS 4650 - Transitions in Development: Adolescence Explores the developmental tasks and life experiences of children ages 10 through 21 and the contexts in which this development occurs, including families, peer groups, schools, neighborhoods, and work and leisure settings. Theories and research relevant to adolescence will be reviewed; the implications of these theories and research for working with adolescents will be considered.
