HIST 3214 - Military History of the Civil War The military aspects of the U.S. Civil War and the reasons for success and victory. Relationship between battles, soldier morale, and the homefront. Political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of the war which shaped its military course and outcome. Also the roles of individual men and women, White and Black.
