MGT 3100J - The Social, Legal, and Ethical Responsibilities of Business Considers the role of organizations in modern society. A wide range of social and legal issues will be addressed during class discussions and assignments, including: environmental impact, discrimination, consumerism, workplace safety, worker rights, and the impact of globalization. Students are expected to research and write about issues from various sides, analyzing ethical dilemmas and the relative merits of possible solutions.
