PHIL 4170 - Philosophy of Logic
Provides a survey of issues in the philosophy of logic. Topics include formal theories of truth, logical and semantical paradoxes, modal logic, conditionals, interpretations of quantifiers, and philosophical implications of Godel’s incompleteness theorems.
Requisites: CS 3000 or PHIL 3200
Credit Hours: 3.0
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
