ART 3100 - Museum Fundamentals I This is part one of a two-semester core survey course concentrating on fundamental methods and experiences pertinent to the museum field as preparation for students pursuing graduate degrees in museum studies or careers within museum professions. Provides an overview of the purpose, function, and history of museums and their role in society, and introduces best practices and contemporary issues in museums.
