IHS 2190 - Introduction to Immigrant & Migrant Health This course will introduce students to issues related to mobile populations and to the myriad health issues faced by immigrant and migrant populations in the U.S. Because of the relatively large numbers of foreign-born individuals in Ohio, both in urban and rural areas, students working in health care are likely to engage with individuals and groups born outside the U.S. This course is designed to prepare students to appropriately and effectively engage with immigrant and migrant groups as well as other diverse groups.
