ART 1131 - Introduction to Film Photography Introduction to Film Photography develops basic camera and darkroom techniques using light sensitive materials with emphasis on creative expression, composition, lighting, and the art of film-based photography. No previous art experience is required. Designed for the non-art student seeking an appreciation and understanding of art and art practices. Students will gain experience and direct knowledge from hands-on exploration with a single-lens reflex camera, 35mm film, and a traditional wet darkroom.
