MUS D099 - Theory Preparation for Music Majors Intensive introduction to the basic materials of Western music, including pitch elements (scales, intervals, and chords), time elements (meter and rhythm) and notation. The student will become fluent with this material, develop facility in basic aural skills and be introduced to keyboard skills. Note: offered on the World Wide Web. No classroom component. Assignments submitted online and by email. No credit given toward a degree.
