REC 1081 - Sport Rock Climbing Provides students with the fundamental skills necessary to lead climb on bolted routes. In addition, instruction will focus on topics that include lead belaying, clipping, anchors, and rappelling. An extension of REC 1080, The Fundamentals of Rock Climbing, as it offers students the opportunity to further develop their climbing technique in sport rock climbing.
