REC 1082 - Traditional Rock Climbing Designed to build on the skills and knowledge obtained in REC 1080 and REC 1081. As part of the course curriculum, students will have an opportunity to focus on skills related to climbing rope management, belaying a lead climber, and constructing a quality protection system that mitigates risk for the both lead climber and the belayer. The primary aim is to continue to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for protecting single pitch climbs for the lead and belayer.
