OCOM 7922 - Primary Care Associateship in Preventive Medicine/Public Health This course is for osteopathic medical students planning for primary care practice who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in preventive medicine and public health as it applies to primary care practice.
Course Outcomes - Learning activities with a concentration in PMPH will be negotiated with the preceptor.
- The student will participate in clinical and field experiences in infectious and chronic disease prevention.
- The student will produce a scholarly paper for presentation at a professional meeting or publication.
