OCOM 8050 - Women’s Health This required four-week required course is designed to provide the 3rd year medical student with opportunities to develop skills and behaviors that promote comprehensive quality health care for women, in addition to addressing reproductive issues that have traditionally been the focus of core competencies for OB/GYN clinical rotations.
Course Outcomes - A set of learning objectives is available to guide the student’s learning activities and to serve as a baseline for assessment of the student’s knowledge, skills, and professional behavior.
- During the Women’s Health Rotation, students are expected to develop their competencies in many basic clinical skills.
- The purpose of this rotation is to provide the student with an overview of the clinical specialty of Women’s Health.
